You cant really judge a freshman on how he will do next season as there is a learning curve to adjust to from high school. Sterling Griffin is a player and he will be a great one for USF in the next few years. Lamar is pretty fast, but he needs to put on some more weight like Devine had to during his freshman year. Dont forget, that Devine was not as impressive during his freshman year after coming off that high school hype. What made Devine get better was his off season work outs that put on that extra weight to make it at the college level.

I have to call Bull on that Daly. Devine had several games his freshman year where he had about 3 or 4 carries for 80 yards. He was also a factor on punt returns and kickoff returns. He was a player since he stepped on campus for WVU and improved each season since then.

You have to remember that Lamar got hurt in that FSU game that pretty much caused him to lose a lot of playing time. Also, the coaching staff has not been using Lamar like they should be. I am not sure if they know that Lamar is beat up or what. I would not give up on Lamar just because he is not getting those stats. I think he will be a good player for USF in the next few years if used right.
