Does anyone have any insight into the handicap parking. I've got a season pass for lot7 but I'm bringing my father in law to the game Saturday and he normally uses the handicap spots. Is my pass good for the handicap parking if he brings his disabled parking tag? More importantly is tailgating allowed in those areas? I was also wondering if I do end up in lot 7, what are the odds of one of those individuals running around in golf carts giving him a ride to the stadium?

Thanks,

Go Bulls

You maybe asked this a little too late because you may need to call somone. The Bulls site says to call the TSA at 813-350-6500. We walk by one handicapped lot and I don't think it's ever been full. It's just south of MLK off Dale Mabry, NW corner of stadium. You may just want to get there as early as possible in case it is first come first served. Should cost $10 and you can tailgate from what I've seen.

Unfortunately the Lot 7 parking pass will not gain you access to a handicap parking place.  The only way to have access to those is by using a handicap parking pass and paying the parking fee on game day.  Has something to do with some state law that doesn't allow us to reserve handicap spaces for anyone, they have to be first come first serve.

FYI:  Just talked to the TSA. They don't provide any type of transportation from other lots to the stadium entrance. I guess I'll just pay the additional fee to park in the reserved section. They also confirmed that tailgating is allowed there.

If your father has a hang tag or handicapped plate, you can park in several lots close to the stadium. Lots A (north westside), C (southeast side), and 6D (directly across from gate C) all have spaces set aside for handicapped parking. Lots A and C fill up quick, but are paved. Only the handicapped tagged vehicle will be allowed in, so if you plan on having a large tailgate, you need to have everybody else park someplace else and come to you and your father.

We'll be in Lot 6D as always.

BTW - Make sure your father is in the vehicle utilizing the handicapped parking. They spot check the tags against the occupants, and if he's not there, you could end up spending the day trying to get out of jail and that $250 fine.
