Why not bring your family to the game? There, problem solved. You can even have a big-ass tailgate in the parking lot together.  ;D

Not trying to name call but I'm serious. Its incredibly selfish to ask students to choose between a game and your family.

I don't think they're being asked to choose ..... unless they're from out of state. Thursday/Friday = Family .... Saturday = Biggest Home in USF history ... That's not too much to ask if they're football fans.

For some 2 days with family they may only see a handful of times a year isn't enough. And you are assuming everyone is a die hard football fan. For some the ideal situation is to stay home, spend another day with their loved ones, and watch the game on tv. Seems like the most logical thing to do to me. Like I said I'll be at the game but am not going to question anybody who chooses to stay with family.

You mean USF Students want to spend time with family??   Good lord you older students need to reeducate them before Christmas, after all we do not want them to enjoy being at home any holiday.

You students wishing to be home for Thanksgiving really should be shot.  Or completely banned from the campus.  SHAME SHAME SHAME.

if they live in the state. they should see their family more than a handful of times a year ... and I'm not assuming, everyone is a diehard football fan, but there's no excuse for this game having any less than our largest student turnout this year

I know you're just rambling, old timer, but, for the record, I'm not advocating spending NO time with the family for this game ...  ;)

I think the student section has been great this year. Yeah attendance was a little lower than usual for louisville, but it was louisville and a noon game.

They will show up in force for miami, so don't complain about the speculation that they may not show up.

My question is: Whats wrong with the people sitting between the endzones?

They dont stand or even make noise!  >:D

but lucky for me my mom is a bulls fan and my dad is a miami fan so i will be at the game!!!!!

bottom line...you are a student for 4....maybe 5 years....

my family would COMPLETELY understand me cutting out early to get back to tampa on Saturday for the USF vs Miami game.

but...keep crying me a river.....

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
