yah, pretty lucky that the timing and the tix worked out for the um game.

although...

right now i'm broke down in Gulfport, MS (better than busted flat in Baton Rouge, I guess, LOL)

need to put another cylinder head on my vw bus, as I somehow managed to snap the #3 intake valve off at the stem.

think I found a guy that can help, but it might take a day or two. good thing the game's not til 3.30 on saturday, haha!

Sounds like you will need a beer or 3.

it's all just another adventure..

we got the engine out of the bus, and found a rebuilt head at a local vw shop.

We'll install it in the morning, put the engine back in, and with luck, I'll be on the road by noon.

Ok, a Janis reference and a VW bus.  Sounds like a DeadHead's dream!  Stop by the Disabled parking lot off of Dale Mabry (NorthWest corner of the Stadium) and we'll share some bud...well Budweiser, if you know what I mean.  We'll be the 2009 GMC Sierra blaring out the Grateful Dead and smoking cigars.
