Took a look at the NCAA Ranking Site and did a comparison to see where we stacked up.

USF's record is 7 - 3.  UM is 8 - 3.

National Rankings:

UM Rushing Off  74th vs USF Rushing Def 44th (advantage USF)

USF Rushing Off 44th vs UM Rushing D 30 (Adv UM)

UM Passing Off 18 vs USF Pass D 27 (close but advantage UM)

USF Passing Off 71 vs UM Pass D 45 (adv UM)

UM Total Off 34 vs USF Total Def 25 (adv USF)

USF Total O 61 vs UM Total D 33rd (adv UM)

UM Punt Returns 58 vs USF Punt Ret 91 (adv UM)

Turnover Margin UM 82  vs USF  51 (Adv USF)

Sacks Allowed UM 95  vs USF Sacks 36 (adv USF)

Sacks UM 73  USF Sacks Allowed 99 (Adv UM)

What do I gather from this information.  That our Defense is good enough to keep us in the game, and maybe help us make a solid game of it.  That if they are smart, they will pass on us all day as we can shut down the run.

And that if we want to win, two things need to happen.  Our offense needs to out perform our rankings.    Also, our Special Teams will need to be sharp, something they haven't been in a while.

Bottom line, Off and St need to step up and our D needs to have their "A" game.

I tried to find a vegas line on this game, but no one has predicted it yet.  I am surprised as lots of other picks are already posted.

Take a look at the above link and they do have us as a closer match up than I had thought based on other criteria.  Interesting.
