I'm looking at the other scores and seeing some of these other top 16 seeds falling, and I just keep thinking that we could be in the next round easily.  Guess that's what we get for not taking care of Rutgers at the end of the regular season.

Totally dominated by Akron... We registered one shot on goal over 90 minutes... They controlled possession all game. It wouldn't matter how we got to the Finals... if we had to play Akron, we were going to get dominated. A nice season for USF... but hopefully Keifer can make some inroads on some future Akron recruits. No one is stopping Akron, although Wake might give them a hell've match.

Sheriff I thought you hated soccer?  Unfortunately I didnt find out about the feed until about 20 minutes to go in the game but I guess Akron is ranked number 1 for a reason. Oh well I heard we have a good recruiting class coming in so good year this year and hope to improve on it next year.

I hate soccer... but I still want USF to dominate in every sport we compete in. Sucks we couldn't knock the Zips off. My brother is a high school and semi-pro coach in Northern VA... so he chirps in my ear a lot about who is good, who is marginal, and who flat out sucks. His women's high school team were National Champs two seasons ago (maybe it was three). Either way... the boy knows soccer like I know Fantasy Basketball.
