I think wes should add a "standing appropriate" sign. What other signs are needed?

I'm tired of these threads. Not because they aren't true, but because they are so played out. We know that some of the bigger tradition school stand the whole game. That's a lot of intensity, coupled with bench seating that doesn't exactly spell out comfort. USF plays at a state of the art stadium, with pretty **** comfy seats. Coupled that with a lot of casual fans, or fans that didn't go to USF while the team played football, so they dint understand the intensity, and you get this thread, every week.

**** Brad another cry baby.  Jesus freaking Christ I am joshing the kid.  Don't get your freaking knickers in a knot.

These kind of posts open themselves up to criticism

Someone is a little too excited about this internet thing. Not to mention you can't read. Never did I defend the original poster, if anything I took a shot at him as well. Also nowhere in my post does it appear that my "knickers are in a knot". If anything, you are the guy who is a little to emotional.

I picture the real life you as a 50 something man who starts fights with "youngins" at the games and ends up begging TPD to press charges on the 20 year old he attacked.

Ya know if the yougin has been to games as a student and then get to sit in a section where the people are NOT as excited as the students he should expect and should have been advised by his father on the obvious behavior for that section.  In those sections there is unfortunately a certain behavior that is expected by those there.  I have no problem with a student screaming himself/herself hoarse.  If the freaking student secgtion sat there quiet as a church mouse I would have to be afraid of that student section.

Oh I am so freaking sorry I misinterpeted your post. <---- Please notate the sarcasm.   ;D

Why do you keep bringing this guys dad in to whatever argument you are trying to make? I get it. Your old as dirt and cant get your **** hard, so you know more than me. Im sure you will attempt to knock out a fan with your walker on Saturday, hope you dont get too badly hurt in real life.

I bring up his father beause he said he was there with his father.  Iwould expect a father to advise a son how to behave in a section where doesn't normally sit.

Sorry I use a cane not a walker.  Canes make beter weapons....particularly the metal ones.  Beside you can blindside drunk students with a cane.  You should see their faces when this old man takes em out with a cane.

I think its got to be a huge Pump for our players to look up in the Stands and see the majority of people sitting, NOT.  We do need to get people more active on defense, for god sakes its not the Opera or a Movie, its FOOTBALL.  I would rather see the stands half full of get up an get loud fans, then full of I cant see, Sit down your to loud fans.  But on a positive note we WON, GO BULLS

bullo12 and others of his ilk obviously get their masochistic rocks off when u reply to their drivel. their collective motto is 'love me or hate me, just don't u dare ignore me'

the best thing u can do is ignore them. sooner or later they'll get bored and go away

Here's my issue... I honestly don't care if we stand or sit.  If the guys in front of me sit, I sit.  IF the guys in front of me stand, I stand.  Well I got a couple of geezers behind me who attended football before the forward pass was legal and they can't stand much longer than the time it takes for them to walk into the game.  The guys in front of me (front row of 200's) want to stand practically the entire game.  So I either stand and have my experience ruined by these idiots behind me whining or I sit and don't see the game.

People need to just have a little bit of courtesy.  Understand that at critical points in the game (big third down plays, kick-off, etc) people are going to stand, if you are too old or too lazy to stand for a couple minutes just watch the jumbo screen.  Understand that not everyone can stand the entire game (or half the game, or every other play), so when not in one of those critical points in the game, sit down.

Perhaps next year we can add a "Standing Appropritate" bulb to the scoreboard.  ANytime it is lit, fans are permitted to stand-up, at all other times they have to sit down.  That or people can gain some social skills and quit crying about this absurd issue.

So I am a student here at USf and decided not to sit in the student section for the Louisville game in order to sit with my entire family. My dad went to Alabama and my grandfather went to Texas A&M so we did what we were taught from an early age to do at a college football game...Stand Up and get loud! Within 30 minutes a woman behind us screams (sit the F*** down! We can't see). She than calls security which comes over and threatens to kick us out of the game if we stood up again. This pissed us off but we kept yelling on defense. 30 minutes later another security guard comes and tells us to be quiet because we were annoying the fans around us with our yelling!!!! Apparently at USF you have to sit down and be quiet the entire game....what kind of ******** college football is this. USF needs to start a stand up and be proud campaign or something because our alumni and older fans=major weak sauce!  >:(

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!  WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!  WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!  I got yelled at.......Daddy please make them stop.

You are one spoiled brat.  Grow the **** up.

this is probably one of the guys who told you to sit down and shut up.

Why even go to the games if you're not excited to be there? When I had season's last year in the South End zone, the older people would be going just as crazy as any of the students. If you;re not excited to be there, don't go...sit your old @$$ at home, eat granola and sip prune juice. "Fans," like you make me sick. It's a football game for crying out loud.

You just too funny.  You should go ahead and leave school and start your career as a stand-up comic.

I thought the crowd was dead.  You can say what you will about standing up and sitting down but the energy level seems to go hand and hand.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
