Edsall's interview was very emotional.  Almost made me shed a tear.

I feel bad for Weis...I can't help it.  He just looks so sad and worried.

The folks in Jacksonville must not be very happy right now...  hard to see ND beating Stanford in Palo Alto next week... which means a 6-6 season for the Irish...

Edsall's interview was very emotional.  Almost made me shed a tear.

I feel bad for Weis...I can't help it.  He just looks so sad and worried.

Edsall is a class act and a hell of a coach.

I don't really feel bad for Weis...all the money in the world and he can't put together the same record some on here are calling for CJL's head for?...I guess he does have a lot more pressure, though.

WHOO HOOO! Both the Sun Bowl and the Gator Bowl gambled in 4 years they would each get ND twice and they both will probably have to take a Big East school. Can't say a highly ranked Pitt or Cincy team is a bad consolation.

Cincy is a bad consolation... their fans don't travel well at all.  Pitt fans travel a little better.

Well that is true......but because the Gator has been no friend of the Big East as of late.....I wouldn't mind them being stuck with Cincy. That said, I am sure they are hopeing a) ND somebeats Stanford or B) West Virginia wins out and Cincy Beats Pitt so they could take UWV and their fanbase. Dont' see that happening though.

I knew it would happen...right after UConn lost to Rutgers late at home, i said..this team will beat Notre Dame.  lol
