Greg's got some more info up, this really looks out of control.  Embarrassing for the players and the University.

Which part looks totally out of control ... the part where Jesus says he did not suspect his teammates in the theft and remains friends with them or the part where CSH said the police had fully exonerated his team? Sounds like some family type stuff going on with it lokking like Belardo leaving the team was a blessing ...

To be honest, I didn't even read that deeply into it.  Out of control was meant more in the context of college kids acting like middle school kids.  This kind of stole his stuff cause I thought it was another guys and was mad at him casue he broke...  Not the kind of stuff you expect from someone who successfully graduated high school and is no attending a four year university.

Feel bad for them that it is going to get aired out like it this though.  Certainly isn't the crime of the century.

The largest crime is USF not revoking Brett's press credentials after he left the Trib and joined AOL. I saw him on the field before the last football game talking to visiting recruits. USF doesn't have to continue giving him that courtesy.

I guess it is just out of the question for us to have any good news.  The basketball team finally looks like it might be making progress and then this crap.  Hopefully all this doesn't pan out to much and doesn't become too much of a distraction.
