I have no problem with losing to a better team.  I however have a problem when we win games like FSU, Auburn, and Kansas. Then lose to teams who are not as talented as us.  A coach once told me winning games you're not supposed to win and losing games you're not supposed to lose get coaches fired.  That is exactly what we have been doing here.  If we didn't win the Auburn, FSU, WVU, Kansas games no one would question us losing to a medicore UCONN, CINCY(in yrs past), and Rutgers team.  Then getting absolutely blown out by them is why people question.  Guys I love USF more then anything, but sometimes we need to take a step back.  How can we look so dominate against FSU on Defense yet give up 31 to Rutgers and FR QB?  Something is wrong here.

We have never lost to UL at Home. And, we have never won at UL. The home team has owned the home field advantage in this series.

The beauty of college football is that any team can win on any given Saturday (sorry for the cliche).  Since you played for CJL, maybe you can shine some light on how he prepares and motivates his players for games.  How can we look so pumped some games and flat and lazy against others.

I think you have to go back and take a look if we were truly more talented than those teams or did we all just think we were.

2 years ago UCONN was co-conference champs so they beat more than just us. Rutgers has finished ranked higher than we have, they have won 13 out of their last 15 games (or something like that). They have also put about 12 guys into the NFL in the last 2 years while we have Jenkins and Tmac. I would say in retrospect they have been far more talented than we are.

Perhaps we just played over our heads in the marquee games. It is extremely hard to play at that level consistently when you aren't that good.
