Gotta get by Davidson first, but if we can win that game... there is potential for some really good games afterwards...

S.Carolina, Miami, Penn St. have all been pretty good recently.

Will our game be televised at all?

I hope so.  I know our game is not on ESPNU.  But you would think as this is a ESPN Marketing "made for television" event, they would make an effort to have the games not on the U televised locally somehow.

Gotta get by Davidson first, but if we can win that game... there is potential for some really good games afterwards...

S.Carolina, Miami, Penn St. have all been pretty good recently.

Playing South Carolina will make us wish Crater was eligible. Downey is one of the fastest/quickest guards in the nation period. What's makes it even tougher is he can also shoot the ball from deep. Stan Heath almost got him to commit to Arkansas. What most true knowledgeable fans might remember is Stan made a huge mistake in not getting Downey choosing instead to take a New Jersey guard that flat out couldn't play at that level. A good friend of mines says the 2005 class that Downey would have been a part of is what really cost Stan his job at Arkie. Well if USF matches up with USC then it will a be a case of what if for Stan and Downey. I hope Devan isn't extra motivated to show Stan what he should have had.

Doesn't look like it ... and the only one that would be televised is if we make it to the Championship game on Sunday.

On a scouting note, Davidson is still trying to find where the O will come from on a consistent bases w/o Curry. They still have dangerous shooters and run a lot of motion. USF will have to be discipline on D and use their decided athletic advantage to wear this Davidson team down. We are a physically stronger team and should really look to exploit that. Hopefully the game isn't called to tight because that will be to our disadvantage.
