I think that 4,193 is a pretty good number considering..

Wow, sad to hear the numbers weren't good at all.  I got to watch about 1 minute live on TV - watching the rest today.  When I saw a number in the 4 thousands I was elated...

We were extremely disappointed to see such a small crowd in the Sun Dome. I won't kid you... this is my first game back in over 9 years, and I can't remember a game where the seats looked this empty when I was in school. If I could drive 2 hours on a monday night to see the Bulls play, the AD could have garnered a larger student crowd. Plenty of life on campus as there were what appeared to be flag football games going on in the IM fields, but no one seemed interested in going to the game.  Go figure.....   When the team gets a few more wins under their belt, people will hopefully start showing more interest in the team that has earned it.

There were actually a decent number of students there, many just sit on their hands the entire time.

Crowd was small but pretty loud in person.  How does UCF get almost 9000 against an A-10 school like UMass and we can't get 4200 for a Big East team.

The fiasco with Jordan probably didn't hurt publicity for the team.

Well, at least last night one part of the student section was standing during the game.

There was a group of us that was standing and yelling the whole time and I hope that more and more will follow our example.

I was in that group and started numerous "defense" cheers as well as starting the "ZEGLINSKI!!!" hating  :P.

student section is WAY too small. me and dozens of other students that i saw were turned away and told to find other seats

Then someone needs to give a crash course to the SD ushers. Isn't that student seating beside the band and above them?

The student section is big enough.. considering it also occupies the section where the pep band was playing.. which was pretty empty.

It's not just the middle section.

I like sitting at the end sections sometimes, since players have to look your direction when scoring and shooting free throws.

Gives you a better opportunity to... express your thoughts... at opposing players  :P
