USF in Must-Win Situation if Bulls Still Hope for Bowl Bid

USF put itself flat up against the wall in its bid for a first-ever Bowl appearance, losing 45-23 at Cincinnati Saturday, Nov, 20, in a game that saw the Bearcats rack up 577 yards of offense, the highest-ever against a USF team.

Andre Hall finished with 155 yards on 16 carries and now has 1,138 yards on the season. His fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season (three in last four games) is also a USF record and he tied the school record for total touchdowns in a season with 12.

Hall has overtaken Army’s Carlton Hill for second place in Conference USA rushing, setting up a match-up between Hall and C-USA’s leading rusher DeAngelo Williams when USF plays Memphis at 11 a.m. November 27 on ESPN2.

USF must now win back-to-back home games against Memphis and Pittsburgh in the coming two weeks to be Bowl-eligible. The Memphis game will air on ESPN2 at 11 a.m. November 27 and feature Conference USA’s top two running backs in DeAngelo Williams (Memphis) and Andre Hall (USF).
