Lets list some of the many mental blocks that USF must overcome. 

1) Beat Rutgers

2) Beat Cincy

3) Win at UL

4) Stop making stupid penalties

5) Dont fumble the ball

6) Get over that mid season collapse

How about win in the Big East.

USF is 16-17 in Big East play (11-17 if you take out Syracuse).

USF is 10-6 at home against the Big East (8-6 without SU).

USF is 6-11 on the road (3-11 without SU).

Just remembered another USF mental block. USF has a hard time winning the 3:30 kickoff times. I remember when USF had the skunk hat and were in the BIG EAST race until they lost that 3:30  kickoff at UCONN thanks to the Voodoo 5. Also, that crazy Cincy game when USF lost a shoot out started at 3:30. I just hope USF can break that block by beating Miami.

So let's see.  We can't win at 3:30.  Can't win on Thursday nights.  Can't win with Erin Andrews on the sideline.  Can't win at Pitt at noon during the 2nd phase of Venus.

We just aren't good enough to win every game. 

As Bulliever said, those were the only blocks evident on Thursday night.

Yeah, but they are mental blocks whether you want to admit them or not. Leavitt has said that his team seems to play bad on Thursday night games. He said that they play well on Friday games. When Leavitt brings that crap up it goes to show that this program needs to eventually get over these hurdles.
