The USF game might not be FAMU's only trip to Raymond James Stadium. Ramsey confirmed he has been in discussions with Florida Atlantic about the schools playing in Tampa in what would serve as a home game for the fledgling Owls. The strong attendance would be a boost for FAU, which is averaging fewer than 11,000 in three home games this season.

"If we know we can get 40,000 fans in Tampa for a game vs. 10,000 to play here in Boca, it could be worth it to do that one time," FAU athletic director Craig Angelos said.

HUH?  40K ain't coming to watch that game....not even at UM.

Don't they only get like 40-50k for the Florida Classic when the teams aren't playing well?  That's a huge match-up, FAU is grasping at straws.

Why in the world would FAU play a game in our backyard?  WTF?  That doesn't make sense!

USF needs to get this deal done. It will generate more ticket sales the sooner it is on the schedule.

There has also been talk of FAU on our schedule at home next year along with FAMU.  Now that would be strange that they both play us at RayJay and then play each other at RayJay.

Maybe we could do a Jamboree like high schools do. FAU vs FAMU in the first session, FAU vs USF in the second, USF vs FAMU in the third.
