Top 10 Things to Come Out of the Game

You guys are such downers . . . . I've got to put on my green and gold glasses and make a list.  Understand now, that Polly Anna is my sister.      Drum roll please . . .

1.  Defense played well at times.

2.  No coach had a coronary.

3.  Most of America probably turned their TVs off at halftime.

4.  Score could have been worse, something like 64-12 perhaps.

5.  No raids on the assistant coaches this year.  We will have a stable staff going into next year.

6.  Without the distraction of a bowl gane, BJ can start basketball, the other players can focus on finals, and the staff can spend more time recruiting.  Not to mention that we'll all save money on travel.

7.  We can all use some more practice being humble, as we are perfect in every other way.

8.  Expectations will be lower next year.

9.  If and when we finally beat Rutgers, the taste will be sweeter.

10.  With that performance, there is ZERO chance ESPN will schedule us for another Thursday night game for quite some time.

Now, I knew that would make you all feel better. GB!

If you take into account how long the defense was on the field, I'd say the defense played better than well at times.  They did not get a chance to catch their breath.

As far as I know, this is true, but we haven't heard from the coaching staff yet.

Then I am in the minority, although I really wanted to do that.

We were shut out.  I can't reconcile 31-0.  UCF at least put some points on the board.

Some truth to this, but the coaching staff has experience and the blow out shouldn't have happened.

I disagree.  They will be looking to see us melt down again on Thursday night.  Their announcers were having a good old time at our expense.
