USF as a Ranked Team

Take a good long look at the little number next to our name. You won't see it for a long time. You won't see it anytime for the rest of this year and you won't see us ranked to start the year next year. 3 years in a row we have been exposed big time.

Between Pitt and tonight's performance we set the perception of this program back to pre-BE days.

I say none of that crap matters until they can compete for a BE title anyway...  Which by the way, Cincy owns us and so does RU.  They seem play badly on the road year after year.  How to you MAKE a team get focused and fired up?  I don't know...  You would think they would be on their own playing in BCS football.

Hell I don't want 'em ranked.  They can't handle it.  The only time they play well is as underdogs or inferior talented teams.  That's it in a nutshell.  If there isn't a lot of brewhaha about upstart USF beating another "traditional" program then the game is a waste of time.  USF doesn't want to be in the bE b/c beating UC, Rutgers, & Syracuse is uninspiring.  Leavit's teams are wannabe ACC or SEC'rs.  BTW if the Bulls screw up against Loserville, they will not win until fall 2010.

Hmm I wonder if that is the case...  You just don't see the inspired play in a lot of Big East games.
