I'm not just talking about wins and losses, but about everything else with the program... There was so much negativity for the longest time, even as recent as a few months ago.

I couldn't be more proud of the coaching staff and all who have gotten the program poised for a great year and for the upcoming Big East.

Jose is doing a great job.  I am hoping he can make an appearance at our Pinellas luncheon so we can give the bb team some well deserved credit and exposure.  They even got some votes this week in the polls.

Do you want to know what is funny??? It was the fact that many on this message board wanted to get rid of Jose Fernandez a few years ago. Well, it just goes to show that it takes some time to get things rolling. The same thing can be said about Robert McCullum. You are going to have to be patient with our new basketball coach. McCullum is starting to bring our program up from the ashes. You just wait.

Coach Fernandez has done a great job in rebuilding this program.  I would love to see this team crack the Top 25.

And being in the Big East will only help women's hoops. In addition to UConn, who we'll get to play at home on a regular basis, there are many other good programs.

Different:

While the tournament format will be the same for the men and women, the formula for regular season scheduling will be different. The men's teams will play 13 opponents with three repeat matchups to reach 16 league games. The women's teams will meet each opponent once and have one repeat opponent.
