I donate $2k and I'm still not able to sit in the lower bowl. I asked about moving down as my donation increased this year but they said there was no availabilty. I wish there was a way that donors could get access to these unused tickets. Possibly take a list of donors who would like to trade for these seats (rank them according to donation level) and match them with donors who don't plan on attending the game.  It's not real fair for those of us who make a decent donation, attend 80% of the games, and can't get a decent seat because someone donates much less, has been a donor longer and never attends a game. If they don't come why do the care where the seat is located?

According to Eric there are 8 seats available in the lower level. Regardless of that, someone in the Athletic office needs to address situations like this. There must be a way to keep track of which seats in lower level aren't ever being used. Those owners should be contacted and something worked out where donors like 94 could sit down there if they're not going to be used. Someone donating $2K a year should be looked out after ..........

We have discussed that but I don't foresee opening the lower bowl to everyone in the near future.  The reason being is to protect those individuals that have paid the donation, bought the tickets, and are showing up.  It wouldn't be fair to them.

Eric

Thanks, Eric.  I still say they didn't donate and buy 12 seats which is what they can sit in now.  What is the difference if the person sitting next to them is the initial donor, someone they gave the tickets to, someone they donated the tickets to or a real fan who moves down in the second half?  I just don't understand the lack of concern to fill the lower bowl with butts in seats so we look better to tv audiences, news cameras and recruits.  I find it hard to believe a true fan and donor would object to having someone sit next to them that received the ticket/seat in some secondary manner.

Thanks again for the responses.

it depends on the fan

if they do stuff like detroit then no

your $2k donors tend not to throw things at players

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
