No, that is from one he caught at the ECU game.

My bad. I thought all the catches he made in that one were with defenders all over him ................

And why are those pictures so much **** clearer that ones I take??

if he is the "TO of our team"

why don't they throw the ball his way of slants and over the middle patterns like TO

why isn't the ball thrown his way 10 times a game

he may be the best freshman receiver usf has ever had but he is hardly dominating

and cinnci players will ride him all day about his fear of the cold

Uhh, he has caught quite a few slants the past few weeks.  In the third quarter he caught a beautifully thrown slant from PJ on a third down and like 12.

They've been averaging throwing to him about 6-7 times a game, that's expected to grow as he improves and gets more playing time- he's only a freshman man!

Not dominating.  There are not many freshman's in this country that can boast catches of 77, 56, 33, 53, and 59 yards over a four week span.  Oh, and the 64 yard bomb he caught for an apparent TD against ECU was not pass interference because in college a defender cannot obstruct a receiver's passing lane by preventing him access to the pass.  The refs concentrated on Peyton's use of the hands not on the fact the DB had his back to the ball, and was standing in front of Peyton directly in the path of the football.  By NCAA rules Peyton has every right to that pass, I suppose to make it look better he should have just jumped on top of the DB's back to catch the pass.

If he caught a few of his early season drops (two TD bombs) his stats would be even gaudier then the 25 yard per catch average he already sports.

They may ride him all day about the cold but they better try to stay on him.  A player that is 6-5, with a 39 inch vert, and has sub-4.5 speed is **** rare in any era you play in.

By the way stevie boy, did I mention that Peyton is a TRUE FRESHMAN!

Sometimes i wonder what team you root for!  If you knew half of the story about Peyton and what he percevered to play college ball you would be his biggest fan.  Especially considering your liberal tendencies.

TO doesn't drop on the money passes.  JP does.  TO isn't scared of playing in the cold.  JP is.  Big difference.

time!

I'm not "hating" PEYTON.  (At least I know how to spell your favorite player's name).  Jeez I said in my first post I LIKE the kid.  I think he's going to be great by the time he's a junior.  Just stop moaning about the cold (when it's 60 degrees).  Also, nobody was loving Peyton when he dropped those perfect passes.  With all due respect to him, we'd be 5-3 had he caught one of them.

he isn't a dominating reciever nor is he  been go to guy let alone TO

bien he needs to perform against good teams

if,  if,if

he didn't perform when he had the chance

the great ones make thoses plays

he may be great by the end of the  day

From S Bien (Sometimes i wonder what team you root for!  If you knew half of the story about Peyton and what he percevered to play college ball you would be his biggest fan.  Especially considering your liberal tendencies.)

Does Johnny want to be a lawyer?

In my opinion... SJ Green is the best receiver on the field right now. Peyton will be the best receiver in our history (His hands need work... we all know that... but you can't coach his athleticism, size, and football smarts). Did anyone besides myself and Bulliever see him stretch for that 1st down and then pull it back in before he got hit. That was a great play on his part... instinctive. I wouldn't expect a freshman to make a play like that.

hardly a TO performance

3 catches giving him less than 20 on the year

sorry- but   ridiculous hype creates unreachable expectations

he is a good freshman receiver and leave it at that

DANG!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
