I got a ticket to the Cowboys-Eagles game last night and didn't see our boy J.R. Reed in uniform. I thought I saw him in warmup gear, though - is he on IR or something?

He's out with a hamstring injury.

Nothing doing: The Eagles' inactive players were kick returner/safety J.R. Reed, cornerback Dexter Wynn, fullback Thomas Tapeh, defensive end Jamaal Green, defensive tackle Paul Grasmanis and offensive linemen Trey Darilek and Ian Allen.

I also noticed that he wasn't back their returning kicks. I thought the Eagles were high on this guy's return abilities....what gives?

Hamstrings often take 5 or 6 games to heal.

Exactly. I pulled mine one time and it took about 6 weeks til I could sprint without pain and about 8 til I was back at full speed.  A full speed that is nowhere near JRs full speed hahaha.
