Mobley was not in SunDome for game vs StLeo

There but not dressed, was Moss and Flowers, walkon's from last year, Capko, transfer from Florida (cannot play until sometime in Dec),   Buckley (transfer from Purdue, sitting out this year), Bridgeman (eye problem) and of course B.Mosley

Were all the ones not dressed but eligible, injured??

Brigman didn't have any type of bandage or anything on his face so maybe he'll be back quick ...........

I think Mag Pie is referring to Stevie Moss who transferred in last year - Mobley was playing at a JUCO last year, therefore Mag Pie could not have seen him on the bench.

That's right, I was talkin' about Moss and not Mobley.

Sorry if that confused anyone.

Now--back to Accounting homework.  Ugh!   :-/

Brig's injury can't really be bandaged... an eye orbital fracture... hopefully it isn't bad.

Buckley (transfer from Purdue) is ineligible this season... capko is ineligible til January (transfer from UF), Mosley...obvious.

Not sure why Moss wasn't dressed

There was an article the other day mentioning that Willie Williams had left the football team and wanted to play USF basketball for McCullum. I'm not sure where that stands at the moment:

Here is the reference:

Meanwhile, receiver Willie Williams, a sophomore from Lake Wales who signed with USF in 2001 but didn't see game action until this fall, has left the team.

Williams, who signed as a quarterback but did not enroll until 2002, caught two passes for 22 yards in the first two games this season. Coach Jim Leavitt said Williams was interested in playing for the USF basketball team - he led Lake Wales to a state championship and earned first-team all-state honors as a junior. Williams' mother, Earnestine Buxton, said he told her Thursday he was not on USF's basketball roster.

BASKETBALL: With forward Maurice Mobley quitting the basketball team, coach Robert McCullum now has a sixth scholarship at his disposal for the incoming recruiting class. The Bulls will need to focus on post players during the spring signing period, having covered the perimeter well with the three players signed in the past week.

One strong possibility is Dennard Abraham, a 6-foot-9, 250-pound forward from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. Abraham was considering Texas Tech, but Bob Knight has signed six players in the past week, filling his scholarships. The only other school Abraham has visited is Towson State, near his native Baltimore, and that bodes well for USF's chances this spring.

As for this week's newest Bulls, McCullum said Tuesday that McHugh Mattis, the 6-6 guard/forward from St. Petersburg College, "may well be the most athletic player on our team" next season, as well as one of the most versatile, comfortable at either guard position or at small forward.

Out recruited by Texas Tech... only if Bob Knight had come to USF!

If Knight had the schollie room, the kid signs. Now, no free school... he weighs his other options. It's like what we experience in football... can't goto UF, FSU, or UM... we got a spot. It's like Jessica Simpson shooting you down, so you go out with Ashley Simpson. I prefer Brittany Spears myself though.
