Memphis game 11 AM on ESPN2

9 a.m. game in Arizona....Fine with me, I don't care about the time that I have to turn on the tube, I just hope our guys are ready to get on the field that early.  It's a major change-up to pregame routine.

Memphis will draw less students because it is on Thanksgiving weekend, and those who are from other cities will likely be at home.

However, the idea of tailgaing at 7:00am sounds interesting.  Steak and eggs instead of bugers and dogs.  Not sure how many Bulls fans will be at this one four hours early!!

But the weather should be cool enough that the daytime start won't really be that bad.  Moreover, it frees up a Saturday night.

Finally, I thought there was some chance this could have been moved to Friday night.  Keeping it on Saturday is great.

No, it will be on ESPN, so all of the "true fans" will pack the student section.

I am sorry but the start time sucks. This is going to be USF's lowest attended games IMO. Why did USF agree to the early kickoff?? Why not kick the game off at noon instead. What does ESPN have scheduled??

Since all the kids can go to this game and not worry about being out too late, it would be nice if we could have some sort of family promotion, like bring the whole family for $25 or something.  Hey we would do well on the concessions (oops, Glazer would make out on them).  

We could also give 500 tickets each to a bunch of kids oriented charities and boys/girls clubs. They could auction them off, give them out, whatever - but that would have to be done in the next couple days, I would imagine.
