You will have no problem finding a good steak house to eat out.  Go to "Joe Tess" for catfish.  It's the best fried freshwater, fish you'll ever eat at a restaurant.

If you like to gamble, right across the river in Iowa there are some casinoes.  My Mom says my Grandfather spends to much time there but what's a 89 yr old man to do in his spare time anyway.  He's been retired from the railroad for nearly 30 yrs  .

Additionally, you can deer hunt in west NE and SD.  Obviously, Cornhusker football rules 24/7/365.  Hope you like cold weather and good luck.  The people are also some the the nation's best.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to visit Omaha in about a month, just to see if I really want to go through with the relocation. I like the downtown Old Market area, the low unemployment, low stress, low cost of living, and everyone I've dealt with has been great. If you like, I can shoot you a board-message about it.
