At least twice the anouncing crew last night talked about how nice our football facilities are.  I hope recruits were watching last night.

Yeah, that was great.  I am sure a lot of high school kids watch the only college game on tues/wed/thurs.

They really turned on UAB in the second half and started talking about how the upper deck at LF is condemned and will be torn down in january, their athletic facilities are horrible, and most people in the state (AL/AU fans) don't want the football team to exist or be funded.

That along with the attendance had to hurt the NCUSA brass.

I liked when Craig James kept saying that USF had alot of upside with being a FL school and going into the BE.  That HELPS recruiting, when the recruits here the announcers praising the school.  Lets hope that JL can continue this progress the rest of the season.  Also last night I flipped to Sunshine and watched some of a recruiting show, they talked about Hill and how he was a verbal at USF.  They stressed VERBAL, they said that most likely he will go else where but they also mentioned that the reason he wants to come to USF is that we will let him play QB.  The other schools recruiting him want him as a DB or WR so lets hope he was watching last night.

And he needs to have that privilage removed after what he said repeatedly about Utah.  They're good, but they dont have the same challanges week in and week out?  Wyoming beat ole miss.  In fact, only at the top are BCS schools THAT much stronger than any other.  Utah did some handy work on A&M and UNC, both which are improved this year.

My roomate also told me he literally "gagged" on national TV at the thought of the Utes getting a bowl.  This guy is a joke.  Apparently he doesn't know what he's voting for.  It's not "most challenged teams".  It's "who is the best".  Holding the Utes at 10 just because they're MWC is shallow and very ignorant, though it is better than the azzholes who dont vote non-BCS at all.

BTW, that MWC that's not top 10 material went up 52-10 on colorado state, BY HALFTIME!!!  They proceeded to take their starters out soon after that.

Play ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 or SEC teams on a regular basis and then I'll listen to what everyone has to say. James was right on with what he said. CSU is not a juggernaut this season. Utah and Boise State should play each other in a bowl game with the winner playing the ACC runner up in a bowl.

The thing that makes no sense when they talk about Utah playing a weaker schedule, they have no choice. You know Sec #1 has to play tougher teams week in and week out, yada yada yada. Well guess what, Utah cant play BCS teams every week. Im sure they would jump at the oppurtunity to join the PAC10 or the Big10 and play those caliber teams, but they havent been offered. They can only play the hand they were delt. And they have played that hand better than almost every team in the country.
