I'll take your word for it. But honestly...I didn't buy season tickets to sit and listen to trombone players.  IAA is IAA... :o

I have to agree with woolly.

FAU athletic director Craig Angelos said his up-and-coming program, 6-1 in its fourth season, is already under contract for six road games next fall, making a trip to play USF unlikely. Angelos would like to work out a home-and-home contract between the schools and expects discussions with USF to continue.

"I think we're going to need a home game, too," Angelos said.

Wow...win a few games and all of a sudden "all high and mighty".

FAMU would be great...

1) They bring fans.

2) They bring a kick ass band.

3) They would be beatable

4) They have enough scholarships -- they tried to jump to 1-A, but the former University President  (Gainous) nixed that.

However, I think someone should email SC Bulls List to Woolard. (Try sending it to: Sue McGooden, Executive Secretary, mcgooden@admin.usf.edu -- or maybe football@admin.usf.edu)

With all the snow birds from Michigan, if we could get the Wolverines to come down later in the season, I think we'd have a huge croud.

Soooo....you can pretty much guarantee that the FAMU band will perform at halftime. The reason I mention that is because I don't seem to recall seeing any opposition bands performing in the past. Seems to me we had some high-school bands the first year or so, but that's about all I recall. ;)

LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, South Carolina all like to play 8 home games per year.  And that's not gonna change.  Mississippi State will NOT take the chance of getting beaten by USF.  Oregon State is the only team that may entertain an offer.

BCS teams that have a possible away opening in 2005:

Team (current scheduled games)

LSU (10 games, 4 away)

Michigan (10 games, 4 away)

Mississippi State (9 games, 4 away)

Missouri (10 games, 4 away)

Nebraska (9 games, 4 away)

Oregon State (9 games, 4 away)

South Carolina (10 games, 4 away)
