UF Fires Zook - USF sits idle

Both experienced similar embarrassing losses and one acted while the other acts like nothing is wrong. One has a National Championship and one is waiting for its first playoff/bowl game of conference competitive season.

Its easy to see that there are issues that need to be addressed at USF (Offensive Coordinator, players crime sprees) and nothing happens. Uless it does I believe we can expect a UCF like rise and then fall.

USF starting playing football in 1997 while UF has played for about 100 years. UF has only one championship to show for it, and they would have never got that 1 championship if Arizona St would have not choked againg Ohio St.  USF has only 1 losing season while UF has alot of losing seasons. Now tell me your apples to oranges comparison again??

Let's not forget one important thing....

UF also has the deep pockets to pay off Zook's $1.8M in remaining salary.

My point bringing up the National Championship was only to try and illustrate that the one that should be feeling the sense urgency is not, while the National Champion acts like one and demands excellence not just a good guy with good/average performance.

I seriously doubt if this "guest" is a Gator fan.  The CFU mention should start to ring some bells.  The crime spree thing too.  It's the only thing the Gnats have to hang their hats on.  Gator fans would never raise the issue of 'crime spree' on a message board.  It hits too close to home for them.

Well....it's a down year for USF, but I can think of some places (left on Gunn, exit to 275 South, exit I-4 east....keep going, keep going...there...that's it. The one with the huge mushroom cloud...) that need coaching revamps more than USF.

Uh, try the situation at my alma mater.

Brian Knorr is STILL the coach at Ohio.

We have a great coach in Leavitt, at least compared to Knorr.  

WE WERE BLOWN OUT BY KENT STATE TODAY.
