I'm not one to usually call for the back-up QB, but with the way Julmiste played lately, I think it's time to give Gachette a chance.  Our QB play couldn't get any worse.

I say that all the time to Carolina fans here.  Their constantly calling for the back-up.  I do feel this is different though.  Julmiste hasn't shown anything and he's a severe detriment to the team.

I don't think Gachette will be our savior, but I think it's time to give him a shot.

SC, you have a valid point.  Couldn't hurt to give Gachette a series to see how he preforms but I'm inclined to let the coaches make the call.  After Friday's game, I'm of the opinion 40-45% of USF's QB struggles is due to "stone" handed WRs.  The INTs are not but being 1 of 14 just don't get it especially when the ball is hitting WRs in the hand.

Isn't Gachette a redshirt?  Why would he come into a losing season half way through and waste his redshirt season?  Doesn't make sense to me.  CJL won't waste that year.

I see what you're saying.  If I thought Gachette were the future of this team, I'd agree.

Someone please help but I thought that we had an Auburn QB transfer which means he could play next year but that does not make him "All That".

More Info on the kid would be nice if anyone knows but I think as much QB competition as possible would be a nice problem to have.  Hopefully our QB recruits are looking at what is going on and they do indeed stay with us because they know that they can compete!!!

Courtney Denson is the transfer from Auburn.  He can't play this year.  No, he is not the savior either as he has been playing corndeback for his entire college career.  I think Groethe is our man for next year, possible Carlton Hill if he ends up coming in.
