Have you seen the scores and thus the records of teams in our conference?    Here's  a up to date list of records if all the scores hold as of  9pm...

#1- LVille    4-0

#2- SMISS  4-0

#3- UAB      3-2

#4- Memphis 2-2

#5- CINN     2-2

#6- TCU      2-2

#7- Army  2-3

#8- Tulane 2-3

#9- ECU  1-3

#10- Houston  1-3

#11- USF  1-3

As one can see we still play number 3, 4, 5, 9...  Plus a winning Pitt team,  I say holy crap!  If we somehow find a QB, receivers that can catch, A defense that resembles the one we have become accustomed to, and a horseshoe I can put up my ass so when we win 5 in a row you people can tell me that yes I do have a horseshoe up my ass... We can still go BOWLING!!!    Now who is with the T-Man?  Better respond soon because my Bull Wagon is loading up for the DRIVE FOR FIVE!!!!

It's certainly not impossible, but I'm not holding my breath.  Judging by the parity CUSA is displaying tonight, we have some wins in our future this season.  We dropped the ball by losing to army though, so a bowl game is unlikely.  If the team shows some improvement and gets some wins, i'll be happy.

5 may be impossible but I think 4 of 5 is deffinately a reachablel goal.

GO BULLS!!!

None of the teams remaining on our schedule are worldbeaters. If this team works hard and improves, we should be competitive and win a few games. Either way, it will say something about the attitude of this team.

Ahhhh....collective voices of reason. Truly refreshing!

While it is true the upsets happen, that is exactly what we were on the receiving end of when Army came to town. Unfortunately, it was a conference loss, so there's really no way to make up for that (losses to Southern Miss and L'ville were not entirely unexpected).

I'd say three of the next four are do-able, but right now I'd have to put all my chips on 50% and flip-a-coin on Pitt.  We're not going to a bowl game this year - obviously - and given the way things are shaking out, would you really want another televised loss?

Even if we do win out, we are only bowl ELIGABLE.  But after the way we played on national tv at Louisville, I don't think any bowl representatives will be interested this year even if we are 6-5.

I'll be happy with a few wins and being competitive the rest of the season.

I still think we can beat Cincy, Memphis, EasyU and even UAB but we have to play smart and Julmiss has to show up and be worth a ****.

I am still sticking to my 5-6 or 6-5 record, with 5 - 6 looking better every passing day.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
