Real coach, real consequences

Halfway through their dissapoint loss to FSU last night the University of Virginia football teams head coach, disgusted with his defenses execution, said that they would all have to try-out for thier posions again this week.

Sounds like a good idea. It couldn't hurt, hell maybe Danny Verpaele would go back to his HS QB position and stop costing us points on defense.

There are no consequences for anthing on this team. As far as Leavitt going because he isn't running (ruining) the roost like he has in the past so be it. Where is he going to go after his last two teams looked liked this? 'Bama LOL!! I guess he could coach LB's  for K-State again I guess.

He needs a wake up  call/humbling but then again we all do. We are not so much a fallen team as one that never has been. We have ever won a big game and never will untill we get character and discipline.

OH no!! I think ARMY may run left - or right - at the airport counter but either way we still could not stop them. Pitiful excuse for a football team that put on display before a Homecoming crowd.

Enter: sbien - Saying that this team is young (true) but good (not so much) and that it was built for the 2005 entry into the BIG EAST (like last year when he said it was for 2004). Crap, crap and more crap.

good coaching puts players in positions to suceed

great coaches (and i bullieve JL is one) get more from players than the talent the player possesses

great leaders surround themselves with great people (sometimes people better than themselves) in order to reach their objectives.

i cannot in all fairness say the OC and and QB coaches (by their results)

can be considered great at their positions

this team needs a whole lot of talent infusion

better coaching

better conditioning

and more discipline
