Louisville - loss, severe ass-whooping

UAB - loss, semi-severe ass-whooping

East Carolina - win, but close game

Cincinnati - loss, close game

Memphis - loss, close game

Pittsburgh - loss, severe ass-whooping

Then the Big East will call and say: "Oops.  We made mistake.  We are going to pass on that invatation."

Hey fellas, it is a well known fact our AD spent a lot of time polliticing with the Big East for you guys to come into the Big East with us.  That is not to say you would not have without him, but he sure helped make a case for you guys.  We're planning on you guys becoming the forth big football power out of Florida and a real big time asset to football in the Big East.  

You're likely to never be able to compete with Louisville in basketball, but I hate to see this negative talk from you guys in football.  We're expecting to be chasing you guys in a few short years for top ten rankings every year.

the OC is not the man to take us there and needs to be changed

concerning bball do not count us out- not so fast my friend- our coach is building a solid team i expect will compete in the BE we may not win the next championship but on any given night i think we will be able to beat anyone. so we will compete bulls rollover for no one!

We're USF fans and we're griping about OTHER teams getting good quickly? Sheesh, there are schools who haven't had a 5-win season since Jim Leavitt was at Morningside.

UofL has had a great program for decades and we're not going to supplant them overnight. Certainly not in basketball. At least we're on a competitive footing now, and don't have to listen to Denny Crum's ruminations about why we're not worthy to breathe their air.

So what?  We've become half-way decent in 8 years?  We're not supposed to expect to beat teams that we dominated just last year?!  That kind of attitude will get us nowhere.
