Louisville Miami Game

Louisville put up one hell of a fight on the road. They are a force to be reckoned with this year. We will surely have our hands full.

UL choked and ther is no other way to look at it.they have to hold miami in second half and couldn't

How can you say Petrino made a bad move?  Brohm led that team very well and didn't make any real mistakes.

Don't think Petrino had a choice.  I thought Leflores benching was due to a "rung bell" which may have lead to the fumble.  Additionally, Leflores eyes didn't look quite all there.  I was actually wondering if he would remember the game but the looks of his face.

Wasn't LaFlors the one who wasn't happy and had thoughts of bolting for maybe us? I think a little nepotism with little Brohm is evident. LaFlors didn't look that rattled. But who knows.

MRebe - Riscatti, LeFlors back up was interested in us but I don't think the interest was returned.  He's at Murry State now  (I believe it's Murry State).

You know... there is something about how emotional the loss was for UL... it can be very hard for a team to bounce back after suffering like this.  They will be playing woulda-coulda-shoulda for a few days, unable to really concentrate on the Bulls.

If we can take it to them early next week, we might have a better-than-average chance.

However, on the other hand, UL could take this game as motivation to obliterate the rest of their opponents.  They could come out fuming and bury us early.

Also, USF seems to have had problems this year with mobile QBs.  Brohm isn't - but LeFlors is very mobile - gave UM fits last night.  He could be a big problem for us as well.

I, for one, will have a better feel after the Army game.

I don't believe the loss was Brohm's fault at all.  Brohm didn't turn the ball over deep in Louisville's territory.  Brohm didn't allow the touchdown on the punt return.  Brohm didn't drop an easy interception.  Brohm didn't play defense.  Brohm didn't mismanage the game clock.

UL will be tough at home and yes they will be mad and want to run up the score.  Our DB's will be busy chasing WR's around the field and the running game will be strong.  I think we can push them but we must make no mistakes and control the ball with Hall.

Petrino should have used the timeouts, UM was going to score and UL could have used the time at the end of the game.  At least Petrino had the timeouts to call, JL would have already used them in the 3rd qtr.  But bad coaching move, UL was moving the ball call the timeouts move the ball down the field and score a TD and the world would have shaken!!!
