Dont know if this has been posted before, but Rivals finally has its team rankings up for 2005 and USF is currently #35 with 4 total commitments (all 3 star recruits).  Currently ahead of FSU who is at #41  ;D.

You know, if we have learned anything from this rediculous recruiting ranking crap is that it is all virtually meaningless since they cannot account for kids quitting the team or getting kicked off for various transgressions.

If you think all of this is so meaningful then why don't you go back and take out Julmiste, Mompremier and Hunnicutt out of last years rankings and then tell us where we are at and crow about it.

Come back in 3 years after these guys have had a chance at USF and THEN tell us how great we did.

This is just like billiards and drag racing on ESPN. It's an interesting side dish because the main course isn't ready.  ::)

****, take a deep breath there and calm down. I wasnt crowing about this at all and nor do I think that the rankings are all that meaningful. Just as WB said, with this being an off week thought the rankings were something interesting.

It is more than just interesting as it can have an IMPACT on where other recruits decide to commit. If kids think they will be part of a top recruiting class that is an incentive for them to sign. Top recruits attract other top recruits.

And a fat lot of good that'll do ya if they end up getting kicked off the team for petty theft - hint hint hint.

That's all I am saying.
