MAVTECHKNIGHT... how did you end up at UCF then if you lived in BETA? I know UCF has a huge rep as a commuter school, but I can't bullieve they would have you commute from Tampa to Orlando because UCF lacked the great dorms we did!

I actually live in Orlando and did back then.  I was at UCF first but decided staying at home and going to school wasn't cutting it.  So, I decided to transfer to USF.  I went there for a year and a half and pretty much ran out of money.  I have to say, I really enjoyed my time at USF.  Dorm life was fun and we had a great athletics type floor.  Played in the intramurals in all the sports.  But, after the money ran out and I decided the UCF computer engineering program was the better option, I came back and graduated from UCF.

Amen! I think Basketbull's post has HOF written all over it. If it wasn't for this board, i don't know how else i would get my USF fix all the way up here in Michigan. I can't wait to relocate to Tampa in December.

...I was in Beta Hall around the same time.  I remember Hakeem Shahid when I was there.  I was in 3W.  Where were you?  I always wanted to get in touch with some of those guys on the floor but never knew how to get a hold of them.

I too lived in Beta in '93 for a single semester.  Gil was our R.A., although I can't for the life of me remember his last name.  He had a twin brother.

just curious....

I graduated from USF in 2001. Currently, I'm in my last semester of law school. Hopefully my Tampa externship next semester will leave me some time to catch some USF b-ball games. Maybe I'll see some of ya there.
