Georgia Tech v Maryland or USC v Cal?  and ABC is showing GT v Maryland!

there should be some prgramming rule that no matter what the geographic matchup is if two top 10 teams are playing (especially if it involves #1) that game should get national syndication

Sorry that is a problem for you but you could go to a bar and see all the games.... maybe that is the point from a local tavern perspective.

The local affiliate actually has nothing to do with it. ABC carves up the country and pushes games to them. Channel 28 couldn't have shown USC-California even if it wanted to. (In Fort Worth, we saw Colorado get jacked up by Oklahoma State.)
