If USF is one of only two undefeated BCS teams, I don't see how they can be left out of the MNC.  I think that would add more fuel to the playoff fire and would be a black eye to the BCS.

I think our O-Coord. ability to a)have an effective gameplan and b)adjust to what NC State brings on gameday will have more of a causal relationship than the depth chart in a victory or not....

That's like playing two hand touch and only running right at a bunch of 3rd graders when you're in college vs. just throwing up bomb after bomb to wipe them off the field and send them home crying to their mommies...

We've got ZERO clue when it comes to managing a game and maximizing our talent.  Our offensive talent is every bit as good as any team in the country, yet we put up 17 against FIU?

Indeed.  A 14 point lead does not mean go conservative and try to run the clock.  This is college football.

Agreed.  The odds makers have USF by 8.5 points.  Would be nice to win by 17- put 'em away by twice that!

What?!?!?! We should run a QB Choice play on 3rd and 12 deep in our own territory with 6 minutes left?~??~?~?~?~ You guys are dumb.

You do realize most teams do the same thing on third and long with the lead... QB draw, regular draw, run up the middle, etc.

Coaches realize that if you're winning, on 3rd and long and deep in your own territory, the best plan is run (to keep the clock going and for ball security) and punt.

Sitting in a shotgun and trying to throw for a first down only increases the risk for a turnover and giving them a short field (if not a pick-6).

There are very few coaches who would not run in the same circumstances.
