On August 30, the rays/orioles had a home crowd of 34805 (about 85% full) and we still got around 48k to RJS in the pouring rain to see us play a 1AA (FCS whatever) team.  I know the baseball game was over by the time our game started, but I was counting for tailgate time.  I think there are enough people in the area to fill up the trop and RJS.  I love the Rays, but I won't miss a Bulls game.

It's the first playoff game ever for the rays.  It will be the event in town.  I'd miss the second Rays game for the Bulls no problem, but to go to the first game is special...  It's a conundrum.

Not for me, a conundrum is the first world series game.  I am a huge rays fan, but a bigger Bulls fan.  Mystery solved.

It's probably going to be bad, attendancewise, even besides the potential rays home game. Fact is that it's a school night and you are going to have a TON of moms and kids not there for that reason. Hopefully those tix will find their way into others's hands.

Didn't see many 'kids' at the Friday Night game that started at 8PM.  Most didnt get home until after midnight, that's tough for just about any school age kid to stay-up for school or not.

Thursday game should be fine.  The first rays playoff game is already sold out, so unless you've got tickets then the mystery is solved.  If you do have tickets, and are torn, well I guess it just depends on who you love more, and what sport you love more....

This is why it stinks not being in a college town. Dont get me wrong, I love Tampa, but the Bulls have to compete with professional teams too.

There is no question I love the Bulls more.  That doesn't mean attending the first playoff game in the history of a program isn't a big deal.  If it were any other game, or the World Series, I get your point.

I think the fact that the Rays game is on, sell out or not could hurt

Good point.  I didn't even think about the people who would be watching the Rays on TV.  Speaking of that, if the 2 games are at the same time, I hope the announcer and the video at RJS will give us some Rays updates---at appropriate times during the game (timeouts, etc.)

First two games are sold out. So, if you don't already have tickets or, your willing to get scalped, see you at the game.

As far as Thursday or Sunday night... I can feel a 24 hour virus coming on. It was/will be contagious and the whole family got it.

GO BULLS!

I think the USF game will be fine, if you do not have tickets already you will not, we are college students we are suppose to be broke and spend the money wisely, free student ticket and tailgate stuff, simple, not a Rays fan.

Well being a Red Sox fan, I'll be pulling for the Sox to win the division so the Rays first 2 games will be on the road, thus allowing anyone who may be torn to no longer have that tough decision on their shoulders!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
