Hahahaha. I dont think you are evil anymore than I think I am for not giving a **** about the Rays. Good luck on your sell, just make sure someone uses your USF tickets as well.

And to increase my evilness level, I do have 2 tickets available (4 if the price is right) to the rays 1st ALDS game to the highest bidder in sec 130 lower box.   >:D

I am a Bulls season ticket holder and have missed very few games since day 1 and I consider them to be my most favorite team. I am also a Rays fan and have been since day 1 too. As much as I am hoping for a Rays day game Thursday I will be at the Trop either way. Their first playoff game in history following a magical season trumps a regular season Bulls game which I can DVR and watch later.

I completely agree.  This doesn't make anyone less of a Bulls fan.

Not bashing anyone who goes to the Rays game over the Bulls game but consider this:

10 or so years ago, if someone told you that USF would be in the top 10, be the favorite to win a BCS conference and was hosting a Thursday night, nationally televised conference opener on ESPN, you would have probably said there was no way in heck, other than a family emergency, that you would miss that game.  Well that time is now.

Let's also consider the other side of the equation.  So our upstart baseball team will host their first ever playoff game?  Two things will happen.  Either they will win the World Series or they will not.  If they win the World Series, then who really cares about who or who didn't go to the first playoff game.  You will be bragging about how you went to the 1st ever World Series game in Rays history, instead.  If they don't win the World Series (or even go to the World Series) then who really cares about the 1st playoff game, you will probably be mad you missed the first ever home Thursday night game in USF history.  Does anyone really talk about the 1st home playoff Lightning game in their history?  I don't think so.  Just the Stanley Cup games.

Tough call either way, just something to consider.  I feel the college boys need more support than the pro boys.  Rays could lose 1st playoff game and be fine.  Bulls lose Thursday and it ruins the season.

Go Bulls.

I am surprised the Rays wouldn't open the entire stadium for sale. They would sell the Trop out.

The entire stadium is not open?

They have 8-9K obstructed view seats in the top of the upper decks in the OF that they cover with tarps.  They said they would only consider opening them for the World Series because MLB has some rule about changing the seating structure in the playoffs.  I guess they can only do it for the World Series.  The playoffs sold out before tickets even went on sale to the general public and there are a ton of people who just want to be in the building and are complaining that they want the option of buying the obstructed view seats.  The Rays are saying MLB rules won't allow them to do so.

Its been a point of contention this week.

The fans at that game witnessed what may be the most exciting goal ever scored by the Lightning. An OT victory over Philadelphia thanks to Alex Selivanov.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
