I have SlingBox on my Palm Centro phone, so I will be watching the Rays while I'm at the USF game!!

Probably not enough bandwidth available with so many people in one area.  I may be wrong, but I can tell you that is definately the case with T-mobile.

Oh and I just did a quick check on Raysbb.com  and there was not one person that felt the need to tell there message board that they were skipping the Rays game in order to go to the Bulls game. "Why?" you may ask, probably because they know it is stupid to go to a teams message board and try to explain to the most die hard fans of that team why you think it is more important to do something else on a day when they are playing what their fans preceive to be a pretty big game. I am glad that you think this game is going to be a religous experience for you now go talk about it here Raysbb.com because we have real sports that we would like to talk about. And I am glad that you want to be part of the community that the Rays bring together so move to the ******* hood in St Pete where they play because most people in the Bay area do not give a ****!

jd,

It's not fans like you are indicting...

Do you have a fan detecter?  How do you know who is a fan and who isn't?  I've gone to 10-30 Rays games a year for at least the last 4 years.  Prior to that I did not live in Tampa.  I have attended as many home Rays games as Bulls games, I would imagine more.  Before they were good, it was always a cheap fun time after work.  The outfield tickets were 10 bucks or less and with ferg's right there it is easy to get liquored up beforehand.  Plus it was usually a slugfest.  Since they became good, I've actually gone to far less games.  This is because getting in out of St Pete with all the "bandwagoners" traffic and such is a pain in the ass.  But that doesn't make me less of a bulls fan for wanting to go to the first playoff game.

Blah Blah Blah....  The point of the thread is that it is going to affect [glow=red,2,300]Bulls[/glow] attendance.  Myself included.  I travel to many bulls away games, I put family relationships at risk just to attend bulls games, I've come close to losing jobs over posting on this board, I'm a diehard.  But I will not be in attendance on Thursday.  That brings me to the conclusion that many others (with less than a bulls heart than I) will also be in the same situation.  So **** off...

Do we know if the Rays play at 3:00 or 6:30 ?

I didn't see anything on MLB, the Times or on the Ray's sites...

We do not know yet...I would think we would know by Sunday night.  I'm hoping for 3 so I can go to both!

I can3 believe how lame our fan base is.

Seriously, where were you wen we didn't sell out 3 of 4 games in a playoff clinching series against the Twins? We had 18000 Thursday night.

The Pitt game is 10 times bigger than the Rays first playoff game.

We COULD be top 10, We will be opening Big East play, we'll be on national TV.

******* rediculous because I know most of you probably didn't even give two ***** about the Rays until this year.

I will be flying down to attend the Bulls game Thurs, and the Rays game on Friday.

Go Bulls and Go Rays

End rant.

not everyone thinks like you. get over it.

And not everyone thinks like you, its his opinion on it.
