Congrats on clinching the AL East. The playoffs are clearly not meaningful to me this year, but I will be watching for the love of the game.

Thank God I'll never have to make that decision, though if I did I would go to the Pitt game, and the playoff game the day after. I had to work my schedule all around to go to Yankees Stadium this year. Didn't want to miss any USF games either.

Again, congrats on the clinching yesterday, you can thank the Yankees for kicking Boston's ass.

I can3 believe how lame our fan base is.

Seriously, where were you wen we didn't sell out 3 of 4 games in a playoff clinching series against the Twins? We had 18000 Thursday night.

The Pitt game is 10 times bigger than the Rays first playoff game.

We COULD be top 10, We will be opening Big East play, we'll be on national TV.

******* rediculous because I know most of you probably didn't even give two ***** about the Rays until this year.

I will be flying down to attend the Bulls game Thurs, and the Rays game on Friday.

Go Bulls and Go Rays

I have had a partial season ticket package since 2002.  I have not watched maybe a total of 30 Rays games since 2002.  I am a huge Rays fan.  They are by far my favorite of the 3 local pro teams probably mostly because I have been a fan since no one cared about them.  You have no idea how special this is to me.  If it wasn't the 1st ever playoff game, like if it was just game 2 or something, I would probably think differently.  But, this is going to be a special night that I will remember the rest of my life.

As should the people that think you must now cheer for the Rays in order to live in the Bay area. By the way where is the magical cut off line where on one side you must now cheer for the Rays and where on the other side you may cheer for whatever team you actually like?
