Good News for PJ & the Offense

Army, Memphis, TCU, & UAB rank among the 10 worst pass defenses in the nation.  Army & ECU are tied for dead last in giving up 531.5 yards per game.  This bodes well for our Bulls me thinks.

if OC gives game plan to the talent we DO have then we will be ok

i have said even last year we should be better not so much by great qb play but by fewer qb mistakes because of experience. there are sings that PJ is getting there (usm game not withstanding), there are fewer signs the OC playcalling has improved.

Agree with the mistakes part but disagree with the play calling.  As a whole the play calling has been better, they have adjust the formations and have PJ under center more that allows Hall to see the hole and opens up play action.  I hate it when they run out of the spread because it sure seems that the OL do not hold the blocks long enough for the hole to develope.  Now during the SM game, SM played 8 men in the box and dared JL and PJ to beat them with the pass, so there maybe they should have still spread the field but keep PJ under center that more often than not will freeze the linebackers for a moment and should free up the crossing route.
