I heard there were $23 tickets available now? I'd be really mad if this was true. $51 for a student ticket is painful.

The worst seats in that visitor section is the 15-yard line.  I don't think there's a bad seat to be had.

Also, FAU, FIU, and all other bleacher seating isn't bad for college games.  People are spoiled by our NFL stadium...

How's it going?  We had a preview of the new stadium tonight (or as some of you have rightly called it the new 3/4 of the stadium).  Here's a photo of where the USF fans will be sitting....

I agree. You all need to suck it up. There's only about 30 rows and they are all sideline. I can't see how any seat would be bad. GA takes all the "hey your in my seats" out of the equation. A lot less of a headache if you ask me.

Are there concessions on the visitors' side at all??

The best part were the temporary bleachers, you make do with what you have!

This is just phase I

Phase II will include the new field house with balcony overlooking the stadium (that big hole in the middle of the north end-zone) and also the new student activity center which will also be the new facade of the stadium and enclose the 1/4 old part of the stadium bleachers that you guys are sitting in.

And yes, there are concessions and bathrooms right behind the visitors bleachers, just remember that they don't sell alcohol inside the stadium (except for the club level and suite level seats).

There's Clubs and Suites in that thing??? now THAT'S impressive

and I may be crazy but I remember our FAU seats being GA. We were in the bleachers in the endzone which could be why.

I know nothing about plans for FIU other than the fact that I'm flying out Friday night (despite the fact that my employer thinks I'm working), flying home Sunday and have 2 tickets in my possession!

oh and what's the structural soundness of those bleachers? Don't want too much swaying...had enough of that for one season

No, paying $51.00 a each ticket only to find out that I have to get in the stadium an hour early to get good seats is stupid.  If the seats were $25.00 each OR we knew they were going to be GA before hand, it would be a different story altogether.

And it may take the whole "hey you're in my seats" out of the equation, but now you'll have jackasses saving seats for their friends like the Beef Studs always do.  Also, if you get up to get something, don't expect your seat to be waiting there for you when you get back.

Like I said, it would have taken extremely little effort to make the seats with numbers on them.
