A flood of people running, jumping, and climbing over things always has the possibility of something terrible happening.

That being said, if we beat Kansas, I have no doubt our students are at LEAST going to try to rush the field.

Why would we rush the field in a game we are favored in? I know we have some dumb fans, but wow.

I'm not going to Kay-Fabe if a herd of students rush the field and I have had enough beer I may follow suit since I have not had the chance to do it yet... of course I would be running from the 300 level so it depends on what smokey is doing by the time I make it down there...  ;D if they are ready to taze then I may rethink things, of course it depends on how much beer I have  :drinkup

Next year once I retire from HOS this will not be a problem. ::)

Please.  People fall out of the stands and get hurt all the time just watching a game.  Someone fell out of the top level at a Braves game and died this season.  Why don't we just stop letting people attend games altogether.

This is definitely not a game to rush the field. It'll be good entertainment though when the few idiots who do  get tackled, tazed, and carted off. We were lucky they let us do it at the WV game.

the slamming is only part of it-- he then proceeds to punch the guys head in

No kidding. They showed the video on, I think, Monday on College Football Live. The cop beat the hell out of that poor guy. Unbelievable.

did anyone catch the brutal beat down the security put on some students (while tons of others ran right by them) after ECU beat WVU?

Now that game was totally under ECU's control the whole time-- and I realize it was a huge win for them ranked opponent-wise - but I have to say that was crazy. If schools lack the security force to stop this from happening-- BACK OFF and let it happen-- surround the players and coaches instead =- protect them. DOn't waste time trying to stop a handful of people then proceed to beat on them for whatever reason.

I just wish we could stop the running on the field in general. I know it is fun-- I've even done it myself a few times. But the chances that something really bad happens are scary.

If we have an emotional win against KU-- I sure hope we don't have people saying "umpt the wall" and running around like crazy bastards

great for lawyers

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
