how much has the loss of Coach McCarney affected our DLine play?

i've noticed quite a few people expressing concern over the lack of sacks we've had thus far this season.

our All-American DE [George, of course] has yet to rack up even decent sack numbers against relatively weak competition, and even with all the double-teaming he's receiving, Buie hasn't put up the stats either...

so the question is, how much has the departure of Dan McCarney affected our DLine play?

last year with him at the helm our DLine was arguably the best it's ever been... Selvie racked up huge, nation-leading numbers, Clebert was a stopper in the middle...

do we miss Coach McCarney more than we realize?

players need to take some ownership

the new coach shouldnt miss a beat

Got a feeling we'll see a lot of McCarney down the line.  As the HC at Syracuse or UCF.

Guys, our defense DOMINATED both games this year.  Amateurish coaching, short fields to defend and a frenzied stadium made for three minutesd of hell.  What happenned after the TV timnout and break at the end of regulation. . . . . . 4 and out.  IMO, our DL is where it needs to be.
