Since we're on the subject of bands...

for our band members here, in terms of size, how does this year's edition of the Herd Of Thunder compare with last year's?

Largest yet. 320 strong.

You guys not only get bigger every year, but better as well.

Keep up the great work...the difference in atmosphere when you guys ARE there & NOT there (away games) is huge.

We're only going to one more away game: FIU, that means WVU should be quite a heart breaker to watch on tv, as I want to be there, but we all can't get what we want.. thank you budget cuts.

Just to clarify a few things:

-There will be no KU Band representation on Friday night.

-There was no USF Band representation at Kansas in 2006.

-USF "HOT" Band is 313 members this year - our largest ever!

-USF "HOT" will only travel to UCF & FIU this year.

I thought HOT was great on the opening night.  Looking foward to some good half time shows this year.  And it did look a lot larger than last year....

It is cool we have such a connected and solid band...

I think we have the worst band in the Big 12, so it's best they don't make it. They're slowly growing in numbers, and they might be good in a few years. But for now, you can't hear them unless you're right next to them.

Just wanted to say that it looks like you've done a great job so far in your new role... The change with the Call of the Bulls having the entire trumpet section... or at least the majority of it was a great idea!! Keep it up!!!
