I know I'll be loud in 125... I'm assuming everyone else will be as well!

now people will just pass of their tickets

but i got a 100lvl for KANSAS WOOO

I am guessing that is why they say bring your ID and ticket -- do they print ID numbers or student names on the ticket?

You are correct good sir, they have the students name on each ticket.

This is a horrible change for several reasons.

  • There is no longer an easy way to identify who belongs where. It will take longer for students to get to their seats, because each usher will have to keep checking tickets instead of simply looking at the wrists. It may be a little more work for USF on Monday, but it saves time and is more convenient on Friday/Saturday.
  • What happens if it rains again? Last home game, the tickets printed from home got wet, and the ink ran; what then?
  • Tickets can be passed off. They are only checking IDs at the entrance, not inside. The wristbands made this easier to control.

I really have a bad feeling on this plan. I think Friday could get chaotic in the student section.

Look, unless they made it so you could print out your wristband that whole process was a big waste of time. Im a usf st pete student, do you think i want to drive 45 mins to USF tampa to pick up my wristband, then 45 mins back? And if this year is anything like that i have to keep it on for days before the game? The whole thing was poorly organized.

If they want to set a tent up outside the game, and let you come pick up a wristband there if you want to sit in the lower bowl, thats fine, but for me this is a lot better now.

^ this

and what the guy in clearwater said. My GF is a student, but she's not going to drive to the Tampa campus to pick up a wristband.

They're doing it right, finally.

If the point of student tickets was to avoid waiting in lines then we would look pretty stupid to wait in line for a wristband.

The wristbands suck anyway.

They shouldn't have assigned seats, people have friends and want to sit with them.

The ushers would have to check every student id and ticket to get this right on the inside they check the id at the main gate and then the ticket only once you get inside. We'll see if they switch to i.d at both places.

Not that it matters but I thought they said they were going to send the wristbands to st pete, clearwater etc so people didnt have to drive to the tampa campus? Not that it matters anymore

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
