All this means is that the odds-makers see this game as even. When lines are being set the home team generally starts as a 3.5 point favorite and then the odds-makers will set the number based off of that. The line will then start being moved based off of where the money is going. Wouldn't be surprised to see this line start creeping towards even as I think a lot of people will bet Kansas getting points.

My guess would be about 0, but I'm not entirely sure.  No player has admitted to it at least.

Yea, I'd bet less than 5 guys on the team read these boards, if any.  But you know they hear/read the spreads.

Actually, it means that the odd makers think that the public will perceive USF to be a 4 point favorite. Remember, they are not trying to predict who will win, but rather trying to find the point at which they will get the same amount of action on both sides of the line. The idea being that they get to keep a "comission" on each bet registered.

I must say I was really surprised when I saw this line. I know a professional "handicapper" and he said if the game was at KU they (KU) would have been a 6 point favorite. I think this line will genarate a lot of Kansas $$.
