The alvarado kick to win the game.. there were 15 seconds left and we had a time out. Why didn't we run one more time towards the center of the field, run down the clock and call time out with 3 seconds left. Even if Alvarado made the kick we still would have given them an opportunity for a big punt return from Burnett. Instead we took a delay of game to reduce the angle which we could have done with a run to the right. Horrible call.

Are we sure (besides relying on the trampoline's scoreboard with ESPN was looking at)?

We had one time out left before we took the TO with 46 seconds left, the one that they had to fix the clock because the UCF operator let another 11 seconds run off before stopping it.  Unless we were awarded a 4th time out by the officials, we were out.

Yeah scoreboard said we had 1 TO, but the clock stopped without explanation back around 0:46.  Most of us in the stands thought perhaps USF used their timeout.  One thing that was awful at UCF stadium was the mic on the referee - we could hardly hear him on the west side of the stadium.
