Did you guys forget we played in the Orange Bowl in Florida last year? Not talking smack I'm just saying that is as close as you can get to a comparison with Ray James....given you guys will have the advantage in fan percentage, haha.

Did you guys forget we played in the Orange Bowl in Florida last year? Not talking smack I'm just saying that is as close as you can get to a comparison with Ray James....given you guys will have the advantage in fan percentage, haha.

I didn't forget. Playing Virginia Tech at a neutral site in Florida, in my opinion, is not a good comparison. But, if it makes you feel better to think so, be my guest.

Well if last season never happened I would be very concerned with this game...much like the concern we had going into the Missouri game because we hadn't dealt with playing in front of a crowd like that. But we won all of our road games in hostile environments last season, and even though we came out scared against Missouri, I felt like we redeemed ourselves by putting on a show in front of 80,000 in Miami. This is pretty much the same team as last year, and they won't be scared to play in front of a crowd of that magnitude.

You may have some bragging rights if you had played and beat Miami at the Orange Bowl last year - but since it was Va Tech and was pretty much neutral then its not the same.

Anyway looking forward to the game  ;)

Well, we did have our way with WVU last year in Tampa and they beat Oklahoma convincingly on the road in their bowl game. That might be more indicative.

I wasn't talking about Pitt.

I could have mentioned some of the teams that Virginia Tech played, but didn't bother.

Evidently, WVU found it tougher playing USF in Tampa then they did in a bowl game far away from them.
