i felt the same way but still had about 13 heart attacks.

the team was obviously struggling and i can not beat them up over it.....

they pulled out a tough road win.  we're 2-0.  GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!

Players played hard.  Coaches need to re-examine thier strategy.  They nearly gave it away.  Matt needs to protect against the t'overs.

but see, the thing is.........every game is different.

yes, come out flat against KU and we lose.  DUH.  

Any given Saturday.

But our guys played their hearts out to win this game.  And we did WIN.

Sure it's not pretty, but it buys us another week to get our crap in order for KU.

Look at it this way, UCF didn't turn it over at all.  This and the special teams literally kept them in the game.  They never had a scoring drive of over 45 yards.  Our D played a great game.  Up 14 points with the ball on the 50 and we can't go for the jugular?  We kept them in this game and almost blew it.  I think we had over 300 yards of offense and yet we had to beat them in OT.  Good teams smell blood.  We did and couldn't close the game out.  Hopefully next time we have the chance, we can increase the lead.  Until then we'll never be elite.
